With the year 2011 coming to an end and knowing that 2012 we're all going to die (according to the Mayans), the company decided to treat all of us to a night of free, limited quantity of food and alcohol. The venue: The Court House. Usually at night time this place is packed with teenagers and their flood of hormones but because we don't like to share with any of those, our Toronto office decided to rent the entire place for the evening. The people were great, services were excellent, but the food was scarce. It made me think that they should probably change their slogan to "The Court House, come happy, leave hungry". It was a night of chatting(socializing) followed by more chatting followed by going to the washroom and back for more chatting. To be able to hang-out with co-workers who I can call friends was very nice!
We match! Don't we? Freakin' skinny tie took me many tries and I still failed to succeed by 4 inches too high.
Clearly I had a few drinks, and they were not water. Please keep in mind that Kevin looks better in real person than in pictures.
The ground floor was packed with too many beautiful people so some of us moved upstairs to get away from the humidity.
Overall the night was fun and relaxing. It was nice to see the people that I work with at night, one hour after I just saw them during the day.
